In loving memory of Peter Gibson Creighton, passed away in his 60th year on the morning of July 27, 2016, from injuries sustained
on the job.
He was born August 3rd, 1956 in Toronto, Ontario. He is survived and deeply missed by: his loving wife Linda (Pinder); his children
Christine, Devon (spouse), Stephanie, Mark (spouse) , Philip, Anna (friend) and Richard; his siblings Bob, Leanne (spouse), John ,
Angie (spouse), Susan, Bryan (spouse) , Jim , Anne (spouse) , Al , Kelly (spouse) and families. Peter is predeceased by his parents
Jim and Evelyn, and brother Will.
Peter loved people, and this was demonstrated by the way he spent his life. He was a part of many community activities: he sat on
the school council, was a member of the Streetsville Legion, helped run the Dad and Kids Fishing Derby for over 20 years, and
participated in the Lakeview Waterfront Connection. He worked most of his life in the family business at Creighton Rock Drill, which
brought him all across the country, providing affable service to all his customers. He could always be relied upon to solve any
problem and make sure that his customers were completely satisfied. He also had an interest in politics, and even ran to be a
member of parliament in the federal election.
Peter was a loving, selfless man, who would always be there to help whoever needed it. He dedicated his life to supporting his
family, and was always loyal to his friends. He was generous, good humored and kind. He will be greatly missed by family and all
who knew him, and many happy and cherished memories will never be forgotten.
